I went down to the Secretary of State office today. I filed my Articles of Organization for B-java Coffee and Tea LLC.

While I was there I visited my pals at the Coffee Zon, Terry and Sylvia. I see they have remodeled the zon, both locations look great! I met JP a new to me barista there, and I think she would have fit in with our old crew just fine.

So, it was kind of cool to visit the old while beginning the new! I took a couple of photos before the battery died on my camera. I will post them later.

This next week will be a whirl wind, but first Sandy and I are heading to Kentucky for a weekend with friends. The time away should do us good. Sandy has been roasting coffee for our friend Miriam's birthday. It smells so good in the house.

Trina Hamlin stopped by yesterday morning. She was in town for a concert at Outword Bound Bookstore. Trina is a singer songwriter from Minnesota living in New York, and she is a pretty popular entertainer in the independent music world. She is also just fun to hang out with.

Wednesday, I am looking at my insurance quote for the coffee shop. Ouch! I was told it was so high because I am a first year business owner. She said she wants to try to get me credit for all my years in the business as a manager. I hope that brings it down!

I met with the accountant yesterday and the lawyer tomorrow. Moving right along!

Workin' on Saturday morning! I had a couple of friends stop by the coffee shop today. I like it when I can have a cup with a pal! I had asked my friend Jonathan to stop by and try a variation on our espresso blend. He liked it, but I think it needs tweaking.

I was pretty busy this morning. Sold most of my pre made sandwiches, and some breakfast biscuits. Lots of blender drinks, and lattes.
I had a guy order a single espresso. He sounded like he knew what he was doing so I called it a manly drink and made it for him. He drank it, but later said it was nasty! Ha ha, I told him next time he might like a latte, and he said yeah that's what I'll get next time. So, the next time he comes I will work on him to get a small double latte, and eventually work him down to an espresso macchiato. They need to be trained to drink espresso in this part of the country!

Well, I have the rest of the day off, and the shop is closed on Sundays, so I am going to enjoy this beautiful week end!

So a blog, I wanted a blog, and now I have one. What ever shall I find to say?

How about I am buying a coffee shop, and I am going to name it B-java! Cool. I have been in the coffee business for over 12 years as a barista and manager. I have done professional training and sales over the last year. Now, it is time for me to move on to do it all.

Once we are flying the new flag I will tell you where it is, and what things are happening.
